30×40 House Plan – Practical Vastu Positions (Simple, Site-Based)
On a 30×40 site, decide layout with basics first: stair, toilets/ducts, car park, and ventilation. If you want Vastu, we place rooms accordingly without making the structure complicated.
Start with the basics
- Fix stair & toilets first. These control shaft/duct positions and headroom.
- Plan the car park and entry line. Avoid cutting columns for ramps later.
- Keep a clean column grid. Straight beams = faster shuttering, fewer leaks.
- Light & ventilation. Give each room a real window/shaft, not just “assumed” vents.
Vastu positions we commonly follow (practical)
- Kitchen: South-East (preferred) or North-West (if ducting is easier). Choose by exhaust route, not theory alone.
- Master Bedroom: South-West. Other bedrooms as per privacy and window sides.
- Pooja: North-East. Keep it ventilated; avoid fully dark boxes.
- Living/Dining: North/East side if possible. Control glare with shading on West.
- Toilets: Club them vertically to reduce plumbing runs and leakage points.
- Stair: South/Centre bands usually work; don’t block the North-East light path.
Orientation notes for 30×40 sites
- East-facing: Easy morning light. Keep living/entry on front side; kitchen SE/NW as per duct.
- West-facing: More evening heat. Plan shading, deeper chajjas, and cross-vent. Keep bedrooms away from hot West wall when possible.
- North-facing: Soft daylight. Good for family rooms and study. Watch privacy from road.
- South-facing: Works fine with planning. Use landscape/shading; kitchen SE still ok, or NW if services suit.
Space efficiency on 30×40
- Stack wet areas; reduce bends and long horizontal pipe runs.
- Use standard door/window sizes to control cost and speed.
- Keep the centre zone clearer for movement; avoid thick walls in the middle.
- Plan wardrobes and bed sizes early so switches and windows don’t clash later.
